Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership, training, and mentoring to users and Epicor ERP process owners.
- Ensure reliable performance of ERP systems.
- Participate in projects to implement, test and design ERP applications and system upgrades/changes.
- Resolve ERP related hardware, software and system problems.
- Monitor and maintain ERP systems security.
- Install new software releases and system upgrades.
- Verify backups and perform restores when necessary.
- Create, update and manage interface files between Epicor, Kronos and UltiPro systems.
- Respond to internal clients on all levels to resolve IT-related issues and provide solutions in timely manner.
- Assist departments and teams to create and document procedures
- Analyze and streamline business processes
- Create, maintain and develop BAQ's, dashboards, Crystal reports and data files to support sales, operations and other business units.
- Create and implement user acceptance testing for upgrades and design changes.
- Stay current on recent technology, research and recommend upgrades, new equipment, systems, to support business needs.
- Support companywide transformation projects and initiatives.
- Provide backup and support to other IT staff on installation, maintenance and updates to hardware and software.
- Perform additional duties as requested by management
Skills/Requirements:
- Expert in Epicor ERP systems require, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or MIS
- Experience with Windows Servers, Microsoft Active Directory, VPN and IP Routing
- Experience with Kronos timekeeping system.
- Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Expert in Microsoft products
- Advanced Crystal report writing skills and SQL Reporting services.
- Extensive background in project management and change management
- Strong communication skills and customer focused – quick to respond and resolve problems and issues
- Exceptional leadership and problem solving skills
- .Net background is a plus
- SharePoint integration experience is a plus
