POSITION REQUIREMENT(S):
- Microsoft Certification (MCTS) in SQL Server Administration and Business Intelligence Development
- Previous experience with advanced business technical report writing.
- Previous experience with Mid-market ERP software implementation and maintenance.
- Previous experience with Mid-market Human Resources and Payroll Management software implementation and maintenance.
- Must be able to effectively use Microsoft Business Intelligence Development Studio (Visual Studio)
- Must be skilled in the advanced use of Transact-SQL.
- Must be skilled in the advanced use of Microsoft Office applications
- Must also have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate technical ideas effectively.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- Work with business users to configure and maintain Business Applications
- Administer security for various applications such as BI systems, HRM and ERP systems.
- Advance the company’s deployment of key application systems such as BI solutions, ERP, CRM and HRM systems.
- Responsible for database administration tasks.
- Create and maintain business reports and help explain contents and use of reports to end users
- Constructing data cubes for reporting and analysis
- Proactively maintain and update relational databases
- Proactively maintain and update multidimensional databases and data cubes
- Identify solutions for Business Applications and BI issues as they arise
- Serve as trusted advisor to others within selected areas of expertise.
- Assist with SharePoint development
- Collaborate with the IT team to finish projects
EDUCATION:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management or equivalent combination of experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
Preferred: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management or equivalent combination of experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. MCP/MCSA/MCSE/MCTS/MCITP Certifications preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Required: 8-10 years of relevant experience
Preferred: 10+ years of relevant experience
Completes special projects upon requests, and other duties may be assigned.
