Responsibilities
As a Senior Data Analyst, you will leverage your extensive background in managing large and complex data sets to help facilitate the analysis, delivery, and successful application of our products and services. The position is ultimately responsible to ensure the proper and effective management, oversight, control, governance, and transformation of all client data that is delivered to us. This requires a candidate who possesses the following characteristics:

• Exceptional Communication Skills - an effective communicator with the ability to translate complex situations into easy to understand terms. This position requires active written and verbal communication with all areas of our business.
• Strong Organizational Skills - The ability to multi-task, provide accurate estimates of work efforts, and effectively manage workflow that originates from a variety of sources.
• Flexibility and Time Management - Responds quickly to changes in priorities and has strong time management skills while maintaining the ability to be self-directed.
• Team Leadership and Management - As a leader in our data operation group, this role requires the ability to provide direction, recommendations, thought leadership, and industry best practices to help refine and shape internal processes and procedures that enable more effective and efficient management of data.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a data focused role that includes, but is not limited to data management, data mining, data verification, and data governance.
• Strong knowledge and experience working with big data sets with several tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and SQL.
• Relevant experience with big data sets to perform extract, transform, load (ETL) processes is required.
• Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data management, analysis, and visualization tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy, 'R', Teradata, etc. is a plus.
• Help to identify and resolve data issues through root cause analysis.
• Exceptionally strong written, communication, and organizational skills.
• Quantitative/statistical and data analysis experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to effectively interact and communicate closely with fellow employees.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent
