The position is multidisciplinary in nature and travel to customers’ premises is often required. The position reports to the Director of Field Service Engineering. As a member of the team, you will participate in Direct Software and Hardware support to our customers via email, telephone and onsite visits. Excellent understanding of hardware functionality is a must. The candidate must also have good experience in troubleshooting hardware and software problems.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop design layouts for Real-Time Location Services (RTLS) and Environmental Monitoring (EM) installations
- Provide onsite validation and testing of RTLS systems
- Provide multi-level support and troubleshooting for Partner Channels
- Provide technical training for Partner Channels
- Ensure customer requests and status are followed up on time and in a professional way

- Working knowledge of Ethernet and Internet protocols
- System-level debugging skills
- Hardware debugging skills
- Ability to teach and train channel partners and staff on products
- Understand our business, marketing materials and business jargon, the unique point of difference and our products/services
- Project management; clearly articulating project scope and objectives, meeting deadlines, time management, contingency planning, approval channels and procedures, budgeting, organization & vendor capabilities and tracking/monitoring procedures
- Able to interpret and disseminate information
- Able to prepare basic reports and use of the appropriate mode of communication
- Comfortable with technology and the use of standard office programs and networks
- Customer/Client service orientation – driven to meet or exceed consumer expectations with the availability of being flexible on working outside normal business hours
