Rr Respnsibilities:
- College Degree, preferably in Computer Science or related discipline.
- Minimum CCNA certification required, CCNP preferable.
- 5 or more years of relevant network engineering experience in a multi-location environment required running “bare metal” and virtualized environments.
- In depth knowledge of Sonicwall, Cisco, Fortinet Virtual, and Aruba appliances required
- Well versed in routing protocols.
- Demonstrable experience configuring and troubleshooting MPLS and other related protocols (VPLS, etc).
- Demonstrable experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting firewall appliances.
- Familiar with configuring VPN and other tunneling technologies; GRE, IPSEC, etc.
- In depth knowledge of layer 2 protocols; e.g. STP, VTP, LACP, LLDP, etc.
- Must be proficient with troubleshoot complex network issues.
- Demonstrable experience configuring and troubleshooting COS/QOS.
- Demonstrable experience managing and maintaining an enterprise level VOIP phone system.
- Experience configuring network monitoring and syslog tools; e.g. Solar Winds, Splunk, etc.
- Experience with common network infrastructure protocols such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH
Desired:
- Working knowledge of programming/scripting languages such as Java, PHP, PowerShell, BASH, Python, .Net/C#, or Perl is preferred.
- Functional knowledge of Linux and Windows server systems administration is desirable.
- Experience with MS SQL and MySQL databases a plus.
- Experience with the full Microsoft stack include .Net/C# programming, Microsoft Office 365 administration, Active Directory, and Desktop and Server OS operating systems.
- Familiarity with Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
