Financial Analyst

Duties & Responsibilities:

Review and reconcile revenue on a monthly basis, understanding (not just reporting) the reasons for variations from expected revenues
Prepare actual vs. budget/forecast with an understanding of what happened in the regions
Re-forecast based on new knowledge and past month's performance
Prepared program financial statements for internal use
Identify cost efficiencies and related improvements and proactively review and develop new pricing models as required
Ad Hoc reports for various business partners as they relate to product areas
Creating new pricing models with sales personnel
Prepare budgets and financial statements and understand compliance and regulatory issues for states or other local regulatory agencies
When needed, assist with financial due diligence of acquisition targets

Job Requirements

Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required, MBA preferred
Three (3) to six (6) years of financial analysis experience with a focus on new business and renewal pricing, analytical and modeling skill
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Prior experience with Hyperion Essbase is preferred
Prior experience with Oracle a plus
Excel/Word skills, ability to work independently; thrive in fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
