Candidates should have a strong design knowledge and experience in:
- Ammonia or Freon central refrigeration systems used to support food processing and storage at large facilities.
- Freon split systems used to provide cooling at smaller facilities
- Steam/condensate, compressed air, chilled glycol/water generation, water filtration systems
- Piping systems for utility distribution
- Generation of equipment and piping specifications, utility PFD's & P&ID's
- Knowledge of national, state and insurance requirements for installations, pressure vessels, and piping.
- Energy efficiency, consumption and utility incentives
- Installation supervision and system start up assistance

Report writing and presentations to clients
PREFERRED candidates should have:
- Experience with sanitary environments, the food industry or industrial design is a plus
- 4+ years of relevant experience an industrial manufacturing setting
- PE or FE certificate
REQUIRED:
- 2+ years of relevant design experience
- 2+ years of relevant field experience (i.e., installation oversight, contractor experience)
- Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Bachelor Degree, candidates without a minimum of a Bachelor degree will not be considered.
