Senior Application Developer - Ruby on Rails

Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Contribute significantly to a product line built with Ruby on Rails
- Work closely with the product owner to ensure the entire team has a shared understanding of the needed solution
- Collaborate with other application teams to share knowledge and services
- Deliver software in an Agile / SCRUM environment
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in building highly scalable Java systems.
- Experience in Spring Boot, Maven, Messaging Frameworks, Junit, Mockito or other Mock Object Frameworks.
- Experience in the following technologies is a plus: Activemq / Kafka, Tomcat, MySQL, Couchebase, Apache Camel, Docker, Zookeeper, CI/CD tools and other Nosql Databases.
- A strong understanding of REST Web Services, Micro Services and SOA
- Good communication skills
- Commitment to testing and experience with Test Drive Development (TDD)
