The HVAC Service Manager is responsible for leading the HVAC service team with a focus on driving achievements of the highest levels possible regarding customer satisfaction, productivity and growth of the team and Company. You will be responsible for the motivation, training and development of the HVAC service team. This position will interface with all departments in the company and drive service delivery, HVAC installation referrals, and cross selling opportunities for other non HVAC business lines involved with the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in business/management or related field or combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics.
Experience: Minimum 3+ year experience in a Service Manager role, preferably in the HVAC industry
Certification/Licenses: Valid Driver’s License in good standing, EPA Certified, and N.A.T.E. certified preferred.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Advanced technical knowledge of methods and materials used in HVAC industry.
- Working knowledge of safe work practices is desired.
- Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organizational, planning and time management skills.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule when necessary to meet the customers’ and Company’s needs with dependability and consistency.
- Must be highly motivated, self-starter with positive energy and a passion for growth and success.
- Ability to lead, train, coach and motivate diverse teams in a positive effective manner.
- Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
- Strong interpersonal skills including problem solving and customer service focus absolutely required.
- Ability to work independently, but meet assigned goals and objectives in designated time frames.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with skills to multi-task on different levels
- Working knowledge of general computer and Microsoft Office products
