The Production Control Coordinator performs planning and scheduling duties within a CNC shop. This includes quote support, order confirmation, work center scheduling and order prioritization to meet order commitment dates.
REQUIREMENTS:
MUSTS:
- B.S. Degree in Business or related field.
- 3-5 years experience in a Manufacturing Environment with exposure to Shop Planning and Scheduling Systems.
- Some basic understanding of Manufacturing control/scheduling systems (ERP,MRP, etc) and how they operate along with knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Comprehend and follow established processes, procedures and interpret system generated data to enable the formulation of sound decisions impacting manufacturing
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone and maintain interpersonal relationships.
WANTS:
- Lean/Six Sigma Experience
- APICS Certification
- Experience Planning in a CNC Machine Shop
