The Process Engineer monitors and ensures manufacturing processes and equipment are meeting documented performance levels; drives continuous improvement efforts, refining current processes to exceed current documented performance levels; reduces variance and waste through utilizing analytical and statistical methods; monitors key performance indicators and reports results and reacting to out of control conditions; supports installations and validation of new equipment and equipment or process upgrades; trains production personnel on equipment, processes, software, and data collection requirements; and is responsible for quality and production efficiency of the product produced.
Requirements:
Musts:
- Bachelor’s Degree Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical Process Control, and Lean Manufacturing
- Use of Minitab or similar statistical analysis package
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Desired:
- Project Management skills
- Solid understanding of quality systems and quality tools
- Knowledge of ISO, AS or similar quality system requirements
- Six Sigma or Lean Certification
- Experience with machine validation and product qualification
